Hi! I’m Shifra

For many years, I struggled with hypoglycemia and hormonal imbalances. Identifying the root causes and making key changes to my nutrition and lifestyle habits enabled me to prevent these issues and greatly improve my quality of life. This journey demonstrated to me the transformative power of food, not only as a remedy but as a proactive approach to health and prevention.

Over time, I have developed a deep appreciation for an integrative and functional approach that addresses underlying health issues rather than just managing symptoms. This insight led me to pursue a Master of Science in Nutrition, Healthspan and Longevity, where I learned to leverage nutrition proactively to enhance quality of life and extend healthspan (the amount of healthy years one can live).

I now incorporate integrative and functional medicine approaches into my dietetics practice, tailoring solutions to help clients achieve lasting health improvements. My goal is to help clients thrive at every stage of life through personalized nutrition strategies.

Outside of my practice, I am passionate about health and wellness in all aspects of my life, including my second career. I pursue acting, modeling, and commercial work, where I also have provided nutrition advice to film crew members to ensure they stay energized during long production days.

Fun Fact: You can catch me in my latest role as Lucy Cunningham in Her Deadly Night in Paris on Lifetime. While filming, I worked grueling 16-hour days for almost a month, and since caffeine is not a part of my routine, I relied solely on nutritious food to keep me energized.
